concept
Works '24 Taipei 101 Time Sculptures' and 'World Competition, Word Repetition' are part of the ongoing project-Taipei 101-20180906-20200906. All material was collected from 2018/09 to 2020/09. Time sculptures were made from photogrammetry image contributed by merely using the online photos in a monthly order. In '24 Taipei 101 Time Sculptures', I chose Taipei 101 as my primary research subject because it is the most touristic, labeled by most tourist sites as Taipei's must-see attractions. Written event descriptions for each model are for the viewer's reference.
In 'World Competition, Word Repetition', I aim to use word repetition practice (an acting technique), to provide the most direct reactions when looking at the result models. Though everything is abstract, I want to see where I can dig deeper and find interesting relations in this research—art practice as a social study practice.

作品《24個台北時間雕塑》為研究觀光客凝視下的城市景觀長期計畫,於2018年9月至2020年9月蒐集Google搜尋引擎中所有Taipei 101的圖片, 依照月份以攝影測量法製作出24個Taipei 101的時間雕塑。企圖在資本主義消費文化的背景下,大量的圖片分享資訊裡,找尋圖像與生產物的關係與脈絡,並列出有關觀光文化的大事紀與世界事件,作為分析圖像的量尺。
作品《世界的比賽,重複練習》邀請兩位專業演員運用梅斯納表演技巧(Meisner Technique) 的重複練習,重新闡釋24個Taipei 101的時間雕塑。女聲代表觀看者,男聲化身為24個不同的Taipei 101時間雕塑圖像,由互相一來一往的對話中,找出最直覺的觀看與被觀看的反射動作與真實情緒。
