concept
This work is about the movement, collective, time, landscape, and everything happened in Tenerife in April 2019.
We took the sun as a subject to related one person to another or one subject to another, trying to depict the scene of Tenerife and its unique geography and history with South America, Africa and Europe.
We interviewed people we encountered when visiting around the island. We then intertwined the sound recordings from the interview with the pictures and videos taken from us and the materials posted by the public from the website we created. By using all of these materials, we created five fragmented stories with sounds and each week we renewed the stories in the exhibition period.
Every day during our stay, we went around Tenerife by car, trying to capture the elements of the sun. The amazing Canarian plantation, the diverse landscape, culture, history and the mythological Guanches(aboriginal inhabitants of Canary Islands), tourist resort village, golf park, aqua land built for the tourists amazed us by its mirage-like yet vivid experience. We try to present this here and now feeling to the audience whoever visited our exhibition. And last but not least, using the website as a platform to link from Canary Island to the rest of the world.

這是一件有關於移動、集合、地景還有一切在2019年四月有關於西班牙特內裡費島的作品。
我們以太陽為主題，試圖藉此把人與人或物與物連接起，並描繪出有著獨特地理和文化背景、且與南美洲、非洲和歐洲都有歷史交流的特內裡費島。我們在島上時訪問了在地的所有朋友、遇到的遊客及居民，將訪問的聲音檔案與我們在島上記錄的攝影及錄音檔案、結合自製網站(archeologyofthesun.com)上的資料，最後呈現五個不同的錄像故事，每個視覺影像與聲音隨機出現、產生非線性敘事的嶄新內容，並於展覽期間每週更換故事內容。
在駐村期間，我們每天都去島上不同地點探勘，找尋有關太陽的痕跡，特內裡費島獨特的植披、多樣的風景、文化族群及神秘的原住民文化、遊客聚集的村落、水上遊樂園、高爾夫球村帶給我們一個如海市蜃樓般又卻如此真實生動的經驗。希望藉由展覽將4月的特內裡費島呈現給觀眾，並將網站作為島嶼連接世界的介面橋梁，讓來自世界的網民能參與其中。
