smash pigeon... London stories... Background ‘It's biology: all cities are alike’-Sydney Morning Herald Under globalism, cities all over the world has grown massive. The gross development in urban spaces has born many megacities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Jakarta, Delhi and more. However, I found that most of the megacity look quite similar to each other in terms of their street view, urban planning, mass infrastructure. When moving around from one city to another, some Deja Vu has emerged, and some uncanny scene occurred. For instance, on the high street of a random city, you may see big brands and chain hotels, international tourists, pigeons been fed by people. This makes me think about the connection between each city and the similarities (https://www.smh.com.au/national/its-biology-all-cities-are-alike-20110722-1hsue.html). |
